March 2025 Drop In Session

We had a very interactive 1st Wednesday of the month drop in session held at the Lindley Methodist Church Hall on the 5th March with a presentation from Sarah Wells at the Community Rail Partnership featuring the Penistone Line.

Sarah gave us details about the Rail Partnership and described about accessibility on the local and national rail network and ended up with rail bingo to keep us engaged. It is with great excitement we will assess the possible adoption of a railway station and engage with the 200 year activities of the rail system.

We welcomed two new members this evening and thanks go to our volunteer Jodie and our committee member Marie for providing the refreshments.
