July Drop‑In Session – Join Us on Wednesday 1st July 2026

We’re delighted to invite you to our next Headway Huddersfield & District Drop‑In Session, taking place on Wednesday 1st July 2026, from 7pm to 9pm at Lindley Methodist Church Hall, Lindley, Huddersfield.

Our monthly drop‑ins have been at the heart of our community since June 2004, offering a warm, supportive space for anyone affected by acquired or traumatic brain injury across Calderdale and Kirklees. Whether you’re a survivor, a family member, or a carer, you’ll find understanding, connection, and practical help.

What’s Happening This Month?

We’re excited to welcome the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, who will be joining us with a fire engine for members to explore (subject to emergency call‑outs). It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet the team, learn about fire safety, and enjoy something a little different.

What We Offer at Our Drop‑Ins

Our sessions are free to attend and provide a wide range of support, including:

• A friendly chat over a drink

• Activities and social connection

• Information about living with brain injury

• Guidance on the Brain Injury Identity Card

• Details on the Emergency Fund

• A library of helpful resources

• Signposting to other local support services

• A space for carers to share experiences and advice

We’re proud to be a volunteer‑run group, and we’re always happy to welcome new volunteers who want to make a difference.

Who Can Attend?

Everyone is welcome — whether you’re directly affected by brain injury, supporting someone who is, or simply want to learn more. Professionals from legal, rehabilitation, and health backgrounds are also encouraged to come along and connect with our community.
