Drop In Morning & Focus Group
Invite to a Drop In Morning & Focus Group kindly hosted by Second Chance Headway, Wakefield
Time & Location
16 Feb 2024, 10:00 – 12:00
Wakefield, Almshouse Ln, Wakefield WF1 1DS, UK
About the Event
Following on from the recent surveys and consultation exercises Headway UK have undertaken across the network, we remain open to hearing ideas and views from anyone with an interest in improving life after brain injury. It is important to us that we hear from acquired brain injury survivors, their carers and family members across the UK. This is going to feedback into the development of our new Headway UK strategy.
We are holding focus groups across the UK and Second Chance Headway in Wakefield have very kindly agreed to host a session for us on Friday 16th February at their Connections building on Westgate in Wakefield city centre.
They had the great idea of hosting a drop in morning alongside the focus group so that we could invite friends from local Headway branches along to the event too.
The morning will run from 10am until 12noon and you, your committee, volunteers and members are invited to call in for a cuppa and a chat (I will bring a few treats along to enjoy too!)
The focus group will run alongside the drop in from 10.45am until 11.45am. I will be hosting the focus group with a series of questions that aim to identify gaps in service provision locally; identify the needs of acquired brain injury survivors, carers and family members and the challenges they face in everyday life.
Participation in the focus group is not mandatory, you can just call in for a friendly cuppa with the team at Second Chance Headway if preferred.
If you, or anyone at your branch would like to join us, please do let me know so we can ensure they are warmly welcomed (and know what numbers to plan for).
I hope to see some of you there.
Best Wishes,
Marie
