Bridlington train trip

After much work behind the scenes we have an agreement of the trip to Bridlington to be funded by the Penistone Line Partnership.

This will be a LONG day due to having to change trains at Meadowhall.  The agreed plan is now 

We would catch the 8.23 train from Brockholes to Meadowhall arriving 9.20 am then a connection at 10.03 am from Meadowhall arriving 12.02 in Bridlington.

That gives us around 3 hours in the resort

There is a train back at 15.40 that gets into Meadowhall at 17.37. Unfortunately the train up the Penistone Line is 17.41 and there are several platforms to get across therefore it pushes it to 18.41 from Meadowhall to Brockholes arriving 19.38!

If anyone is taking a wheelchair, even a folding one, we need to use the space in the wheelchair storage area on the train.   This is a popular service to the coast;…
