At Headway Huddersfield & District, Christmas isn’t just a date on the calendar — it’s a moment of connection, comfort, and community for the brain injury survivors we support across Calderdale and Kirklees. Many of our members live with the daily challenges of isolation, fatigue, and reduced confidence. Bringing everyone together for a festive meal is more than a tradition; it’s a lifeline.

This year, we’re hosting our Members’ Christmas Lunch at Brighouse Golf Club on Wednesday 2nd December 2026, and we’re reaching out to the community to help us make it truly special. We’re looking for a Christmas Angel sponsor — an individual, business, or organisation willing to support the cost of the lunch so every member can attend without financial worry.

Why This Matters

Social isolation is one of the most significant issues faced by people living with brain injuries. A simple afternoon together — sharing a meal, enjoying conversation, and feeling part of something — can have a profound impact on wellbeing. Our Christmas Lunch gives members a chance to reconnect, celebrate, and feel valued.
